Rebate settlement not affecting accrual accounts in Accounting view

Hello Gurus,

When Rebate is settled for the following 2 scenarios the Rebate accrual account is NOT being touched "sometimes"

Settlement amount > accrued amount

Settlement amount < Accrued amount.
